INFOCITY Joins Uldage Patent Pool for Japanese Digital Broadcasting Standard (ARIB and CATV Standard)

INFOCITY, Inc. announced today that it has joined the ARIB (Association of Radio Industries and Businesses) patent pool and CATV (Cable Television) patent pool, both managed by Uldage Inc., to license their essential patents for ARIB and CATV standards by becoming one of the patentees which are licensing their essential patents for ARIB and CATV standards through Uldage Inc.

“This involvement with Uldage Inc., is one of INFOCITY’s new business opportunity in order to utilize our owns patents effectively. And also INFOCITY will be able to contribute to enhance the incontestable value of this patent pool for ARIB standards and CATV standards,” said Gota Iwanami, President of INFOCITY, Inc.
